Mumbai | Manjot Singh, recently celebrated his birthday and now he is eagerly waiting for the release of his much awaited web show, Chutzpah, which will premiere on Sony LIV from 23rd July. Ever since the trailer launch of the show, the young talented actor has been receiving a lot of praise for portraying an interesting character. He plays a character who is hooked to his computer screen and is giving his heart to Wild Butterfly!

Talking about her character in the web show, Manjot shared, "As far as my character Rishi is concerned, you can see him and the girl Wild Butterfly (portrayed by Elnaaz Norozi, who works in an adult entertainment industry) You can see the growing bond between It is about two persons who are connecting with each other through the internet. Rishi has a different kind of attachment to that girl. Sometimes, we find the brightest thing in the darkest place. I can’t reveal much about it otherwise the whole story will come out. I have no shame in playing my character as it is very relatable.”

Manjot further said that "I did a workshop with director Simarpreet Singh about my body language, manner of speaking etc. It is always good to give up a few things to get involved in the process of trying something new. I was a bit nervous on the first day, also wondering whether the audience would like my character or not. But shooting for the show was an amazing experience. “

True to its title, the trailer of this web show depicts the relevance of internet and social media in everyone’s life which has grabbed the attention of the viewers. With popular Gen-X actors Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Gautam Mehra, Tanya Maniktala, Elnaaz Norozi and Kshitij Chauhan, Chutzpah showcases the digital transformation in today’s era. This web show is tied with the ‘Internet’ era with 5 different stories.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amit Babbar and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba have written the show around the weird and wild universe of the web. The show is composed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and directed by Simarpreet Singh. Chutzpah will go live on Sony LIV from 23rd July.
